Gender Strategies in War

Cornelia Weiss is a 2015 Rotary Peace Fellow (Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand). A former USAF military colonel, awards received include the U.S. Air Force Keenan Award for making the most notable contribution to the development of international law. She holds a GED, an AA (Colorado Mountain College), a BA in Women’s Studies (University of Utah), an MA in Defense and Security Studies (ANEPE), and a JD (Vanderbilt).  She has published in journals ranging from the European Journal of International Law to The Fletcher Forum of World Affairs. A graduate of the Inter-American Defense College (where she was the sole female military student in her class), she most recently provided recommendations to the Inter-American Defense Board to end practices of excluding military women from military education.​
