Steve Schmidt is Founder and COO of Home Energy Analytics, the first company hired by PG&E to provide a new type of "pay for performance" residential energy efficiency program. Forced from a blissful state of climate change denial in 2005, Steve spent years wading through a swamp of climate despair but is now cautiously optimistic. He spends most of his time striving to reduce his personal carbon footprint and helping others find simple ways to do the same. Steve has engineering and business degrees from Stanford, but that was back when it was a lot easier to get in.
